Disable Activation Cmd Adobe. You can disable Adobe CS4 Activation Check by editing your windows “hosts” file. Quote: If you can't afford Adobe products, there are two options: 1. Buy the EDU version at a fraction of the retail cost – you need to be a student or know one willing to buy it for you.

Welcome to Acrobat Customization Wizard DC (hereafter, the “Wizard”). The Wizard streamlines the task of configuring (customizing) the installer prior to organization-wide deployment. For example, if you have a volume license, you do not need to register and personalize each copy of the product you install. You can customize the installer to not only skip the standard registration questions, but also accept the EULA and fill in your organization name automatically. Other options include:
-
Leverage existing deployments by copying enterprise files and registry configurations.
-
Modify the registry (via the Registry Editor) and installer tables (via the Direct Editor) directly.
-
Optimize the behaviour of the installer by setting up silent installation, pre-serialization, reboot options, languages, and so on.
-
Remove previous versions of Reader and Acrobat.
Version rules¶
-
Multiple Wizard versions on one machine: While most users report no problems with multiple versions of the Wizard installed, it is a known constraint that these should be installed in order. It is possible that the presence of more than one version could cause problems with some features such as activation.
-
You must use a major Wizard version that’s identical to the product version. The Wizard DC can only be used to tune Acrobat DC products.
-
Adobe releases periodic Wizard updates. While the Wizard may work if the product and Wizard updates become out of sync, it is recommended to always use the latest of both products. Wizard updates:
-
October 01, 2018: CustWiz1900820071_en_US_DC.exe
-
October 11, 2016: CustWiz1502020039_en_US_DC.exe
-
January 12, 2016: CustWiz1501020056_en_US_DC.exe
-
May 10, 2016: CustWiz1501620039_en_US_DC.exe
-
Supported products¶
The Wizard supports all Acrobat products, including Reader. Certain UI components are enabled or disabled based on the loaded installer file. For example, when customizing Reader, some of the available options which are specific to Acrobat will not display in the user interface.
Documentation notes¶
The online documentation is always more current than the in-product version.

Windows / Windows 7 / Windows XP
Step 1: Under windows 7 go to this path “C:WindowsSystem32driversetc” there you can see some files. We just need to work with hosts file. First we will copy this file and paste to somewhere else as a backup so if anything goes wrong we can replace that with our edited one.
Step 2: Now click on your start button search for Notepad, right-click and select Run as Administrator. This should launch notepad with all possible privileges. Now open the hosts file from the directory path: “C:WindowsSystem32driversetc” if no file displayed, you have to display All Files by typing (*) in the box. It will show you all files of this directory. Now you can open hosts file from there. (remember the above path won’t show any file if you try it without star number: (*) You have to use it to see the All Files)
Step 3: Now the file is front of you check the last line which is “# ::1 localhost” and paste the below lines right after it.
